Amateur treasure hunter. Furry. Therian. Navy Veteran.
I am a quiet introvert. I like to keep to myself (for the most part), but I do want people to know that I'm wanting to participate in the "Beyond the Map's Edge" treasure hunt. I don't want to be yet another finder that comes out of nowhere. If I do end up finding it, I'm just waving my paw to say "Hey, I'm here. I'm trying too!"
I'm not in it for riches nor fame. I just want to see if I'm SMART enough to figure this out. I love detective-like investigations, things that challenge my intellect. The extra money would be nice, but honestly, I'd re-hide a part of the treasure and cash out just enough to live comfortably.
Sometimes we just love the puzzle design, illustrations, or story in a hunt, whether we participated in it or not. Here are my ranked favorites.
A listing of all the hunts I've work on with optional additional notes.

| 2025-03-27 | Beyond the Map’s Edge | I worked on the cipher. I got as far as "AGMRY" as a possible solution, but I missed the extra "A" that I needed to solve it. I ran the 5 letters I had through a ciphertext that I thought I had discovered within the Netflix series and I came up with "COATI" for the solution. As for the treasure hunt itself, I am narrowing down a search area and saving up money for the trip. I do not want to share where I'm looking. This is a competition, after all, but I do wish everyone the best of luck and that they remain safe! |

| 2010-09 | The Thrill of the Chase | I was never able to go out and search for this treasure, but I had a solve that had me looking at "Avalanche Falls" in Glacier National Park for the solve. I was confident that, almost line-for-line, the poem led me to that exact spot. I was surprised to hear it was found in another state. |
