I’m the adventure guide and hunt creator at Redmark Treasure Hunts LLC. I specialize in creating immersive, story driven BOTG adventures blending layered puzzles, ciphers and historic themes for cash-value treasures. I create treasure hunts that are challenging, but fair, and to be found. I get it…I’m a treasure hunter too. When not working on my upcoming “Golden Crossroads 2” hunt, I study other people’s hunts and the clue making craft.
As a child I grew up in rural Oklahoma hiking, camping and playing in the woods. This is where I got the bug for outdoor adventures. My first attempt at creating a hunt was way back in the early 1980's. My last hunt was recently solved in November 2025 – The Golden Crossroads Treasure Hunt. The hunt I work on the most and that continuously makes me scratch my head is The Secret: A Treasure Hunt - specifically the San Francisco cask.
Sometimes we just love the puzzle design, illustrations, or story in a hunt, whether we participated in it or not. Here are my ranked favorites.
A listing of all the hunts I've work on with optional additional notes.
