For the publicity to kick off the first ever Seekers Summit, a $10,000-prize, on-site hunt was announced that would also double as a Guinness World Record attempt. According to the Seekers Summit website, the current world record was set in Greece in 2017 and had 1,384 participants. The on-site hunt would happen regardless of whether they had enough participants to break the world record, and according to the site 971 tickets were sold.
The hunt occurred on Saturday as the finale to the Summit's official events, just after the Justin Posey Q-and-A.
